Drupal and Microsoft? Yes!

imageIn March, DrupalCon is coming to Denver. I am excited to attend. The speaker and session list is rich, and I am happy Microsoft continues its dedication to part of this community.

Web Matrix

Microsoft WebMatrix makes it easy for anyone to create a Drupal site. Acquia Drupal or Drupal 7 available from the Web Application Gallery is fully tested to run on WebMatrix and includes our URL Rewrite module for “Clean URL's”. Customize your site easily and then publish it on the internet from a wide choice of hosting service providers.

Microsoft and the Drupal Community are teaming up to provide definitive and deep guidance on the installation, configuration and tuning of Drupal on the Microsoft Web Platform. Read more for detailed technical information for installing Drupal on IIS which will also include guidance on tuning Drupal for performance on Windows and IIS. You can also ask questions at the Drupal on IIS Forum

Drupal for Windows

Drupal runs great on the Microsoft Web Platform. Microsoft is teaming up with the Drupal Community to make using Drupal on Windows even easier and Microsoft along with its hosting partners is working to make hosting Drupal on Windows a great choice for everyone. The Commerce Guys distribution will soon add their full Commerce Kickstart features.
